Research Activities and Interests:

I work primarily in the fields of public opinion and electoral behaviour, with a focus on British politics. My main research to date centres upon models of generational political and social change, and the influence of political knowledge upon vote choice. Other research interests include Northern Irish politics, class voting, European Parliament elections and the sociology of religion.
