Shaina Western is a Department Lecturer in International Relations in Association with Somerville College. She received her PhD in political science from the University of California, Davis in 2015 and conducts research on international cooperation and migration. She is currently working on a project to understand the bargaining process and ratification outcomes of international treaties. She is also working on a project on comparative citizenship policies with Jeannette Money.
