The conference Democracy, Populism, and Opposition Politics in Africa will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Monday 2 May 2011 at the Department of Politics and International Relations. Speakers include Michael Sata (leader of the Patriotic Front), William Beinart (Oxford), Carolyn Logan (Michigan State University), Stefan Lindemann (Max Planck Institute), Miles Larmer (Sheffield) and Nic Cheeseman (Oxford). Please note that you do not need to register to attend the OReNGA Special Lecture to be given by Michael Sata at 5:00pm, which is open to all.Registration starts at 9:30am.
