Researchers have stepped up to address a wide range of COVID-19 issues. This is not confined to the health sciences; social scientists are addressing the new challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, from the importance of demographic science to predicting peak hospital demand; ascertaining public attitudes to app-based contact tracing; the tracking of international governments' policy responses and aggregating international research data on COVID-19. The University is proud to be at the forefront of the effort to find a solution to the pandemic—and the impact on our society.
