DPIR contributes to the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice's first Summer School in International Studies

The universities of Oxford, Bologna, Trento and the Bruno Kessler Foundation have collaborated with the School of International Relations of Ca 'Foscari University of Venice in organising their first Summer School in International Studies.

The recent event brought together some of the most renowned scholars of international relations, including Richard Caplan (Oxford University), Joseph Grieco (Duke University), Ted Hopf (National University of Singapore), Pascal Vennesson (Sciences Po) and Filippo Andreatta (University of Bologna), with Italian and foreign doctoral students.

During four days, the students had the opportunity to follow specialised training modules and present their research projects to these scholars and receive valuable feedback.  This is an initiative which the universities intend to repeat in the coming years.
