Dr Ezequiel González Ocantos writes about a change in fortunes for the Argentinian President

Dr Ezequiel González Ocantos has written an article (co-authored by Luis Schiumerini) for the Presidential Power blog on the staying power of Argentina's current president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

They write, "The last four years of Kirchnerist rule in Argentina were very different from the first eight. After her resounding victory in 2011, President Fernández had to deal with much lower rates of economic growth, much higher levels of inflation, a pronounced devaluation of the currency, a partial default on the country’s foreign debt, and high profile corruption scandals involving the president’s inner circle."
