The APG Widerkehr Travel Award Prize committee is pleased to announce that Mr Zim Nwokora has been awarded £1,000 to help fund a research trip to the United States.
Zim Nwokora is currently a DPhil student at St Anne`s College, Oxford, where he is supervised by Dr Nigel Bowles. His doctoral thesis is titled `An Agency Theory of the American Presidential Nomination Process`. He is also an associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
The commitee praised Zim`s proposal as analytically rigorous and theoretically ambitious. He plans to visit Yale University Library to consult the papers of John W. Davis, the Democratic presidential candidate in 1924
