Position available at Sciences Po: Full Professorship in Political Science / Comparative Politics

Profile : Major socio-political developments in European countries are a crosscutting theme that is central to the academic identity of the Centre d’études européennes (CEE). The position is to be filled by someone who can strengthen the CEE’s expertise in this area. The objective is to recruit a senior professor whose research focuses on the field of political sociology (participation, values, institutions, parties, etc.). The research should primarily use a comparative approach, with a scope that must include Europe but not necessarily be limited to this region. Candidates must have international stature based on their research, their professional activities (participation in international research networks) and their teaching experience.    

Professors who teach at a higher education institution outside of France and are not certified by the National Council of Universities (CNU) must go before Sciences Po’s Research Council to determine their eligibility for this position. They are requested to report to the selection committee’s president - recruitment.cee@sciencespo.fr before 12 January 2017.
