Professor Cindy Skach wins Teaching Excellence Award for 2011

Congratulations to Professor Cindy Skach, who has received a Teaching Excellence Award for 2011.


The winners of the sixth annual Oxford Teaching Awards were announced in Convocation House on the evening of 10 November. The Vice-Chancellor presided and presented the certificates. The awards acknowledge and reward excellence in teaching and in the support of teaching and learning, with winners including members of academic staff as well as technicians, administrative staff, IT staff and librarians.

Cindy received the award along with Professor Marcus Banks (Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology), and Dr Laura Peers (Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology and Pitt Rivers Museum) for "Visual and Material Culture Research Methods: Sharing Research Training Through the Doctoral Training Centre."
