I am a postdoctoral research fellow in The Changing Character of Conflict Platform: Understanding, Tracing, and Forecasting Change across Time, Space, and Cultures. I hold a doctorate from the Department of Government at the University of Essex as well as BSc. in Political Science and International Relations and Mgr. in Security Studies from the Charles University in Prague. My research interests include political violence, ethnic groups and quantitative research methods. My PhD dissertation focused on identification of the main factors leading to ethnically motivated domestic terrorism and the connection between terrorism and civil wars. Currently, my reserch deals with interdisciplinary approach to conflict dynamic and the role of violent sub-state actors.
