I have a PhD from Sciences Po (Paris) and I am associated to the Centre d’Etudes Européennes (CEE) and the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire d’Evaluation des Politiques Publiques (LIEPP) since 2015. My research deals with the way how European welfare states structure the transition to adulthood and allow young people to access autonomy in Europe. Accordingly, I have elaborated a typology of the “varieties of youth welfare citizenship,” for which I was awarded the 2015 Doctoral Researcher Prize by the research network ESPAnet and the Journal of European Social Policy. My PhD dissertation has been published in French as a book in September 2018 under the title La jeunesse dans tous ses Etats (Paris, Presses Universitaires de France). I also work on young people's political attitudes, as well as on the political economy of the welfare state and education in Europe. I was a temporary lecturer at the University Paris II Panthéon Assas (2015-17) and then the inaugural recipient of the German Kennedy Memorial Fellowship for a EU scholar at Harvard University's Center for European Studies (2017-18). I now work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Politics and International Relations.
