Academic Profile

I am a third year DPhil student in International Relations with interests in conflict, security, truth and IR theories.  My thesis concerns the theory and conduct of verification with focus on the verification of ceasefire agreements.  This year I am writing up my research which took place in the archives of the UN and of the OSCE.  I hold a MSt International Relations (Distinction) from Cambridge, a MSc International Relations Theory (Distinction) from the London School of Economics, a BA International Studies from the Open University and a BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College.  I previously had a career in the British Armed Forces.

I tutor in political philosophy for the Masters in Public Policy (Blavatnik School of Government).
