Academic Profile

I am an ESRC funded DPhil in International Relations candidate researching the political impact of the extra-territorial naturalisation policies of Russia and Hungary. More generally, I am exploring how dual citizenship impacts inter-state relations with regards to issues relating to overlapping sovereignties, territories and jurisdictions.

Teaching specialism, interests and experience

Prior to commencing my DPhil at the University of Oxford, I was employed as a Junior Researcher by the University of Amsterdam's Political Science department.

My master's thesis was shortlisted for two awards: the University of Amsterdam's Uwe Beker Prize thesis award and the Dutch Political Science Association (NKWP)'s Daniel Heinsius thesis award, both in 2016.
