Cassandra is an MPhil student in International Relations researching the role of intent in genocide.

Before joining Oxford, Cassandra graduated with a first class honours in History and International Relations (BA) from King’s College London. Since then, she has worked on multiple documentary film projects, as an editor at Purple Magazine and as a field officer documenting illegal pushbacks and human rights abuses at the Serbo-Hungarian border. Cassandra is especially interested in placing high level geopolitical developments into context by highlighting the pervasive impact they have on individual lives. This is something she aims to focus on further in her role as Podcast Editor for OxPol.
