The 2026 UN Fellows meet our students

DPIR students had a unique opportunity to hear directly from our UN Fellows about what it is really like to build a career at the United Nations.

In a special one-off session on Tuesday 16 June, DPIR students met with our UN Fellows to hear and understand more about a career in the United Nations.  

 

In an engaging session, students and the Fellows enjoyed meaningful engagement – swapping ideas, thoughts and questions on how to embark on a career with the UN.

 

‘A career in the UN’ talk was presented by David Haeri – Director of the Policy, Evaluation and Training Division, UN DPO.  

 

As part of his time at DPIR, we spoke with David, and he reflected on the programme: "This Fellowship brings front line experience into the heart of academic debate."
