Following the failure of a key piece of equipment on the afternoon of Thursday 9th March, IT provision to the Department of Politics and International Relations, the Department of Sociology and the Centre for Criminology have been severely affected. We have now been able to arrange sufficient temporary storage to allow all our users back online. Please note we are unfortunatly not able to restore files created or updated after Wednesday night.
Replacement equipment has arrived today (Monday 20th) and so we hope to have restored normal service shortly.
New IT Website
We are pleased to announce the launch of the new IT website, covering IT facilities across the Department of Politics and International Relations, the Department of Sociology and the Centre for Criminology.
The website features updated rules and policies, advice on getting started with new and common applications, troubleshooting guidelines and information about the IT Office. It will also feature up to date news on IT facilities.
