Dr Andreas Busch Awarded a Workshop at the ECPR Joint Sessions

Dr Andreas Busch has been awarded a workshop at the ECPR Joint Sessions. The workshop is entitled Privacy and Information: Modes of Regulation` and will be a joint undertaking between Andreas and Professor Charles Raab from the University of Edinburgh. The ECPR Joint Sessions will be hosted by the Department of Political Science at the University of Helsinki, Finland, 7 - 12 May 2007.
Andreas and Charles` workshop will focus on questions of private and public sector regulation and governance. They hope to encourage contributions that will allow for a more comprehensive picture of the regulation of the access to and use of information in modern societies. They also hope to analyse the political and societal forces that are pulling and pushing policy makers in different directions.
