Professor Anne Deighton signs open letter refuting claims of a 'European Army'
Anne Deighton is a signatory on an open letter to The Times (30 May) refuting a claim made by the paper days before.
Letter begins: "Sir, Talk of a 'European army' (report, May 27) is misleading. As academic specialists in European foreign and security policy we wish to state that the likelihood of such a development, whether or not the UK remains in the EU, is vanishingly small."
