Professor Richard Caplan appointed to UN advisory board

Professor Richard Caplan has been appointed to a UN advisory board that has been established to provide guidance and advice to a global network of scholars whose research will inform the work of the UN Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO).

The initiative will stimulate research in areas of direct relevance to the PBSO and promote dialogue between UN peacebuilding experts, researchers and academics from the South (especially conflict-affected countries) and Northern researchers and academics.

Richard Caplan is Professor of International Relations, University Lecturer, Official Fellow, Linacre College.
