RISJ event celebrating 40th anniversary of Fellowship includes keynote from the Vice-Chancellor

Professor Irene Tracey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, has delivered the keynote speech at an event marking the 40th anniversary of the Reuters Institute's Journalist Fellowship Programme

In her speech, Professor Tracey charted the history of the programme and celebrated the Institute's and journalism's role in seeking and sharing the truth about the world we live in.

At its best, journalism has the ability to take on a shared role with academia as curators of truth and educators at heart.
