Arthur PB Laudrain

BSc, MA, LLM

Arthur is a research student from the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cybersecurity, on placement at the Department of Politics and International Relations. His research is supported by UK Research & Innovation and The Rotary Foundation. He studies issues at the intersection of technology and international security.

Arthur is a Fellow of the European Cyber Conflict Research Initiative (ECCRI), and a Junior Fellow of the Open Diplomacy Institute.

Teaching & Consulting

Prior to joining the University of Oxford, Arthur worked for the Ministry for the Armed Forces (France) and has provided expertise to think-tanks, consulting firms, and private companies, among them the International Institute for Strategic Studies (UK), Oxford Analytica (UK), and ISTARI Global (Singapore). Arthur holds an MA (Dist.) in International Peace and Security from King’s College London and an LLM in Public International Law from Leiden Law School. He previously published on Lawfare, the French National Defence Review, NATO CyCon US and the European Initiative for Security Studies.
