Bev Cousins
My role sits within the Connected Communications Service (CCS). The CCS is a shared service communications team in the Social Sciences Division. Essentially, we act as an internal communications consultancy for the departments/schools/faculties who have signed up to our services.
Prior to joining the Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR) in August 2023, I worked as Communications Officer for the Department of Economics, (University of Oxford) and before that as a Marketing and Communications Officer at Birmingham City University. My first role at Oxford was in Alumni Communication at Lincoln College, Oxford (2012-2015).
I have delivered various print projects, social media campaigns, press releases and creative digital content, including a flagship film for the Department of Economics. I also managed the portfolio of communication channels for Economics, working out the most effective way to disseminate information to a wide range of audiences.
