I am a DPhil student in Political Theory at Balliol College, University of Oxford. Prior to undertaking my DPhil, I completed an MA in Political and Legal Theory, and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Law at the University of Warwick.

My research interests primarily centre around issues of animal rights and global justice. As such, my doctoral research – generously funded by the DPIR – investigates why, and by what means, agents are permitted to act to achieve ‘animal liberation’ on both a national and international stage. My theoretical approach is particularly inspired by the work of Martha Nussbaum and Christine Korsgaard.

More generally, I am also interested in distributive justice, egalitarianism, intergenerational justice, democratic innovation, and climate justice.

Alongside my studies, I am currently employed at the University of Warwick as a Research Assistant working on several impact-based projects to assist in ethical global policy-making.
