Fatih Aydin is a Practitioner Associate at the Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR), University of Oxford, where he contributes to executive education and practitioner engagement by bridging cutting-edge academic research and executive practice. His work explores the strategic implications of geopolitical risk at the intersection of international relations, business strategy and political economy, translating academic insight into practical frameworks for senior decision-makers.

He is the Founder of ARA, a strategic advisory firm specialising in geopolitics, business strategy and cross-border investment, advising organisations on navigating geopolitical complexity, shaping non-market strategy and making strategic decisions in an increasingly fragmented world.

Over the past fifteen years, he has advised some of the world's leading multinational corporations, financial institutions, private capital investors, family offices, law firms and public sector organisations on strategic decisions in complex political, regulatory and commercial environments. His experience includes advising on major public-private partnership projects, mergers and acquisitions, market expansion and large-scale industrial developments across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.

Working across industries including technology, financial services, energy, mining, manufacturing, healthcare, infrastructure, telecommunications, and aviation, Fatih advises boards and senior executives on the strategic implications of geopolitical change. His work examines how shifting power dynamics, economic security, regulation and technological competition influence investment decisions, corporate strategy, organisational resilience and long-term value creation.

Beyond his advisory work, Fatih is actively engaged with entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, supporting founders, investors and emerging technology ventures. He also contributes to wider business and policy communities through his role on the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye. His work increasingly explores how artificial intelligence, entrepreneurial innovation and technological disruption are redefining competitive advantage, transforming industries and reshaping the relationship between states, markets and global business.

He holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School and is an alumnus of Balliol College.
