I am a fourth-year DPhil student in Politics (Political Theory). My dissertation explores the concept of ‘reflexivity’ in contemporary Frankfurt School critical theory. In the tradition of critical theory, reflexivity refers to the process through which theorists are made aware of influence that their beliefs and habits have on their object of study; I argue that recent work in Frankfurt School critical theory has overlooked the influence of racial prejudices in this process.

Between 2020-2021, I was a Visiting Scholar in the Philosophy Department at Humboldt University with Professor Rahel Jaeggi.

With Dr Sarah Bufkin and Professor Lois McNay, I co-convene the seminar series in Critical Theory.

With Lillian Hingley, I helped found the Oxford Critical Theory Network with TORCH.
