I am a first-year DPhil student in Politics (Comparative Government) at the DPIR and Corpus Christi College. In my doctoral research, I aim to explain the prevalence, predictors, and consequences of mainstream parties' responses to anti-democratic parties. More precisely, I look at how organisational variation across mainstream political parties may impact which responses they adapt and how these different responses affect citizens' democratic attitudes. Beyond my thesis project, I am also more broadly interested in political behaviour, democratic resilience, and gender and politics.

My DPhil is generously funded through the Renato Morelli Graduate Scholarship, which I have been awarded jointly by the DPIR and Corpus Christi College.

Before coming to Oxford, I graduated with distinction from the University of Gothenburg with a Master's Degree in Political Science. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree with distinction from the University of Konstanz in Politics and Public Administration. Additionally, I have gained hands-on research experience through various roles at the University of Konstanz, GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, and The Quality of Government Institute. The projects I contributed to related to gendered political behaviour, corruption, and authoritarian politics, among others.
