In 2025, DPIR celebrates its 25th year anniversary.

On Thursday, 18 September, almost 200 alumni, colleagues, staff, and students joined in person and online to celebrate 25 years of the Department.

Hosted by Head of Department, David Doyle, and Director of the Reuters Institute and the Director of our Journalist Programmes, Mitali Mukherjee, it was an evening of huge celebration and reconnection featuring personal stories and reflections of Celebrating Politics and International Relations at Oxford.
