Dr Dilling receives APSA Award Date 17 Jun 2019 Matthias Dilling Share image/svg+xml image/svg+xml image/svg+xml Dr Matthias Dilling Matthias Dilling, Departmental Lecturer in Comparative Politics, has been awarded the 2019 Walter Dean Burnham Best Dissertation Award by the American Political Science Association (APSA).The Walter Dean Burnham Dissertation Award is "given for the best dissertation in the field of Politics and History". Dr Dilling's thesis, titled 'Organizational choices and organizational adaptability in political parties. The case of Western European Christian democracy', focused on the adaptability of political parties in Europe. He will be presented with the award at the APSA's Annual Meeting in August.
