Dr Nic Cheeseman on the world's richest 1% being set to overtake the rest

Date

Yesterday, Nic Cheeseman co-hosted the Rising Inequality in the Global South: Practice and Solutions Symposium with Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of Oxfam International at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford (organized by OXFAM and Dr Miles Larmer of St Antony's).

The conclusions of this symposium, such as the fact that the world's richest 1% are set to own more than the other 99% combined, have caused headlines around the world.  (You can read examples in the Guardian and the Daily Mail.)

Nic and Winnie have also written directly on the subject for the Huffington Post, which you can read here: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/winnie-byanyima/global-poverty_b_6500424.html
