My research interests lie at the intersection of comparative political economy and political sociology with a particular focus on political socialization and the role of social networks. In my doctoral thesis, I aim to achieve a more encompassing understanding of the economic winners of the knowledge economy – either as voters, workers, or business leaders – against the backdrop of major sociostructural transformations in western Europe and the United States.
