Nachiket Midha is the co-founder and Director of the Oxford Computational Political Science Group (OCPSG), supported by DPIR, to produce research and policy work at the intersection of computational methods, AI Safety, policy, and political science. In addition, OCPSG has successfully trained over 200 global participants in critical computational methods for social science applications and has also participated in crucial policy discussions with the European Parliament's EUDS committee earlier this year. He graduated with an MSc in Politics at the University of Oxford (2024-2025). He also graduated with distinction from Ashoka University with a PGDipASR (Summa Cum Laude) and BA (Hons) in Political Science (Magna Cum Laude). His research spans political dynasties, democratisation, and the intersections of gender and governance, with a focus on India and global political trends.

He is currently also a predoctoral research fellow at the Department of Economics, National University of Singapore.

Nachiket has worked with several think tanks and research organisations, such as the European Studies Centre at Oxford, the Institute of South Asian Studies at NUS, and the Centre for Policy Research and Observer Research Foundation in India. His publications cover topics like elections, nationalism, and law. He is also a co-author of an upcoming work on evaluating Synthetic Agents in Conjoint Experiments and exploring political dynasties in democracies globally. With experience as a research assistant in comparative politics and governance projects, he is dedicated to public problem-solving and contributed to the public health sector at the International Centre for Advanced Studies in New Delhi. His professional background includes ESG consulting in London, business development at a German CivicTech startup, policy evaluation of Delhi's public hospitals, and presenting climate policy reports at the House of Lords, House of Commons, and Buckingham Palace.
