Dr James Tilley interviewed on the electoral impact of religious leaders

James Tilley was interviewed on BBC Radio 4's 'Sunday' programme (22 February) about the influence of statements by religious leaders on elections.

When asked what impact he thought pronouncements from archbishops were likely to have, he said, “I think it’ll have almost no impact, to be perfectly frank.  Very few people in Britain, today at least, are actively religious.”
