Help shape a new MSc programme in Global Challenges

Date

The Department of Politics and International Relations is excited to announce the development of a proposed MSc in Global Challenges.

This innovative, one-year programme is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of, and an ability to, develop solutions to pressing global problems - from climate change and climate security to global inequalities - to the spread of populism and nationalism, to increasing conflict and insecurity.

This programme’s unique features include the combination of all three major sub-disciplines of politics, (Comparative Government, Political Theory and International Relations), in addition to cutting-edge quantitative and qualitative methods training that it can offer thanks to our new Centre for Advanced Social Science Methods (CASSM).
