Karma Nabulsi wins MESA award
Karma Nabulsi, Associate Professor in Politics and International Relations, has been awarded the 2019 Middle Eastern Studies Association (MESA) Undergraduate Education Award alongside Professor Abdel Razzaq Takriti, (University of Houston), for their work on a digital teaching resource on the Palestinian revolution.
According to MESA, the website is 'an impressive and highly versatile open-access website that includes a 12-week teaching module'. The Association congratulated Dr Nabulsi and Prof Takriti for their 'unique, lasting contribution to undergraduate education in the field, even beyond their inspirational role in their students’ lives'.
MESA's Undergraduate Education Award recognises 'outstanding contributions of MESA members to Undergraduate Education through pedagogical materials and scholarship in ways that also help other educators “master the craft of teaching” to undergraduate students'.
