Lucas Kello Discusses "The Virtual Weapon" at Microsoft in Brussels

Centre Director Lucas Kello discussed the central arguments and findings of his recent book, The Virtual Weapon and International Order, at Microsoft's #BookTalk speaker series in Brussels. He reviewed the difficulties of adapting security strategies and institutions to the significant threats to economic interests and political order posed by weaponized computer code and social media manipulation. The audience comprised, among others, officials from European Union institutions, NATO, think tank experts, NGOs, and industry representatives. The event was organised in cooperation with the German Marshall Fund.
