DPIR - one of the world’s largest and best political science departments - is proud to launch its new Geopolitical Risk Executive Education Programme.
Hosted at Rhodes House in Oxford, it is a dynamic and immersive learning experience designed to equip mid-to-senior professionals with the knowledge and strategic insights needed to navigate today’s complex global landscape.
This two-and-a-half day, in-person opportunity brings together world-leading Oxford academics and executives to explore the key geopolitical challenges shaping decision-making across a variety of sectors. The keynote speech will be delivered by the University Chancellor, Lord Hague, who has publicly endorsed the Geopolitical Risk Programme.
Through interactive seminars, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how political, economic, and societal forces interact to create risk and opportunity in today’s interconnected world.
Participants will follow a leaning journey of diagnose, develop, and implement; gaining tools to diagnose political risk with greater precision, develop a deeper, more strategic understanding of how political dynamics affect global markets, regulatory landscapes, and investment climates; and, finally, how to apply and implement these insights to their own organisational context.
In the video below, DPIR’s Head of Department David Doyle says this programme is highly relevant for all organisations as it will equip professionals with the understanding to turn political complexity into strategic advantage:
