The Oxford Research Network on Governance in Africa (OReNGA) welcomes two visiting scholars:
Dr Sérgio Chichava (Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Económicos (IESE), Mozambique) is visiting the Department of Politics and International Relations in September and October in order to develop his research exploring the relationships between China and Lusophone Africa; to network with scholars in Oxford working on China and Africa; and to develop the link between Oxford and IESE.
Dr Godwin Murunga (Kenyatta University, Kenya) is visiting the Africa Studies Centre in October in order to facilitate work on his book, `Kenya: Democracy on Trial`; to network with scholars of Kenya based in Oxford; and to develop greater links between Oxford and Kenyatta University, including the creation of a Kenyan Scholars Network connecting the UK and Kenya.
