Oxford Centre for the Study of Social Justice (CSSJ)

The Centre for the Study of Social Justice is a forum for Oxford’s distinguished grouping of political theorists to share their expertise, collaborate on research projects, and publicise their work to the broader academic and policy-making community.

Questions of social justice cover a wide range: philosophical and practical, theoretical and applied, global, domestic and historic. Encompassing this variety, the Centre for the Study of Social Justice provides a unique opportunity for intellectual exchange on a subject of fundamental political significance.

Based at the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations, the Centre aims to make connections and build bridges: between different aspects of the theoretical study of social justice; with other disciplines such as Philosophy, Law, Economics, Sociology and Social Policy; and with the world of policy.
